Why should you visit Croatia?

1. Clean Sea
Clean sea – Very proud of the clean blue sea. In the Adriatic Sea still live two species of dolphins, bottlenose dolphin, and real/common dolphin, the only animals that are always smiling. As soon as you set a little sail from the coast, you can expect the presence of dolphins. Dolphins for their habitat choose only exceptionally clean sea. The most famous zone are the waters of Losinj Island and Cres where are the resident community of about 120 individuals but they may be seen in other parts of the Adriatic Sea, also. If you spend at sea some time looking for dolphins, it is very likely that you will encounter them.
Sunset – Certainly the most beautiful description of the legendary Zadar sunset wrote a famous film director Alfred Hitchcock during his visits to city Zadar in May 1964. Food – Besides standard European cuisine, Croatia offers it’s most popular local dishes and specialties. Specialties of the cold dishes are the renowned Dalmatian or Istrian prosciuttos, Pag or Lika cheese, sheep cheese, kulen, famous Samobor or Zagorje garlic sausages, fresh cheese with cream, olive oil… Oysters, this particular shellfish from Ston (near Dubrovnik) are among the most delicious oysters in the world. In Neretva Delta (Metkovic) you can eat the best frogs in the world. The main dishes depend on the area you are in.
4. What to drink?
Drinks – Cultivation of grapevine and production of drinkable and elected wines is a centuries-old tradition among wine growers – in the continental part and Dalmatia. Famous varieties of wines along the Adriatic coast are red wines – Teran, Merlot, Cabernet, Dingac, Postup and white – Malvasia, Posip, Pinot, Kujundzusa, Zlahtina, Muscat… In the continental part – Riesling, Grasevina, Burgundy, Traminer… the best liquor are well-known rakija – plum brandy, travarica (brandy with healing herbs) and lozovaca (grape brandy), while among dessert drinks the most famous are maraschino.
5. It’s time for coffee!
Coffee – Lounge bars, a culture of drinking coffee and sitting in cafes and lounge bars in Croatia is phenomenal. The whole Croatia is in summer one large open living room.
Beach – The quality of beach and resorts along the coast testifies an increasing number of people who visiting the coast.
