What to see in Vodice
Church of the Lady of Carmel
Watching from the sea, when you visit Vodice panorama is dominated by Okit hill with its Church of the Lady of Carmel. The first church on this rise was built in the 17th century, probably on foundations of an earlier chapel. In early 20th century, the Way of the Cross was built from the foot to the top of the hill, with fourteen chapels, each one marking one station of the Way of the Cross.
It should be noted that the front of the church for many years growing maple tree, growing to 4m, with three major branches. The branch facing the church flourished in the Christmas night every three years.
Church of St Cross
Church of St Cross is gothic church built in the early 15th century, more precisely in 1402. In 1421 it was dedicated to St Cross at which time it was also used as a parish church. Inside the church is Romanesque-Gothic holy water font on the pillar, which is a unique example in the area of Sibenik. During summer the church houses modern art exhibits several times a year.
Coric Tower
Coric Tower was built by the Fondra family from Sibenik in 1646. The living spaces and defence facilities were fortified by high defence walls since the tower was built during tumultuous times. The stone with which it was built was brought from island Brac. Today, the courtyard of Coric tower is used as an open-air movie theatre during summertime; however the tower is closed to visitors due to its poor condition.
Church of St Cross
The parish Church of St Cross with a belfry was built on the foundations of an old chapel in baroque style, the work of a Sibenik master Ivan Skoko. The walls are decorated with windows from the same period and the interior enriched with a Baroque altar dedicated to St Cross. The bell tower has two balconies (loggia) with two large windows on the lower one and three small windows on each side on the top one.
Church of St Elijah the Prophet
Church of St Elijah the Prophet was built in 1298 by the inhabitants of Pisce. In 1493 was it dedicated to St Elijah the Prophet. Today, a mass is held only once a year and only on August 20th.
Aquarium and Museum of Maritime Tradition
Aquarium and Museum of Maritime Tradition in Vodice is the first of its kind in the Sibenik-Knin County. It was opened in 2006 and contains old fishing tools, ship models, but also the objects found on maritime archaeological sites dating from the 3rd century BC to the middle Ages. Besides 16 aquariums with flora and fauna of Middle Adriatic, there you can see models of ships Gajeta Falkusa and St Jerome as the oldest ship in the Mediterranean. The Museum can be visited from the beginning to the end of 6th to 9th month (10-22h).

National Park Krka
National Park Krka organizes boat trips that allow seeing the canyon and the river and the island of Visovac on which is a Franciscan monastery. Visitors to the National Park Krka can see restored ethnological monuments and get familiar with the customs of this region.
Skradin
Skradin is situated on the bank of the river Krka. It is a city of traditional meetings of Dalmatian choir. Besides the proximity of the National Park Krka boasts with 2000 years long history and rich gastronomic offer. Local marina is a favourite among sailors because it is one of the most visited and most beautiful on the Croatian coast.
National Park Kornati
National Park Kornati is paradise for boaters and all lovers of unspoiled nature. Kornati islands are not inhabited; locals have sheep and grow olives and figs on these islands.

Sibenik is the host of the International Children’s Festival; Festival of Dalmatian Songs… International Children’s Festival is the trademark of Sibenik.
Falcon Centre
Falcon Centre is located in Dubrava. Falconry, hunting with a falcon is as old as the ancient cultures of our planet. In the centre for many years bred different types of prey, and occupies a special place and dispensary for birds that are wounded, sick or simply starved. For all visitors who wish to experience a touch of wilderness and enjoy the beauty of the hawk-flight centre is open throughout the year and to 10 to 17 hours.
Islands Krapanj, Zlarin and Prvic
The islands: Krapanj, Zlarin, Prvic belong to the inhabited islands. On these islands time had stopped. The appearance of the island for centuries has not changed much. Just somewhere between the old stone houses sprout occasional modern building. On these islands cannot be reached by car either car isn’t allowed on the island.
Tribunj
Tribunj is a small fishing village located 2 km west of Vodice. Historical core was built on an island which is connected with stone bridge with the mainland. At the foot of Mount St Nicholas stands the Church of St Nicholas from the 15th century, one of the oldest buildings in Tribunj. In the centre is a marina with 500 berths. The main attraction in Tribunj is donkey race which is held in Tribunj begging of August. If you decide to visit donkey take a little dried figs because donkeys are friendly and they are real epicures.

Diving centres which are located in Vodice, will allow you to reconstruct the history by diving on archaeological sites and shipwrecks, these museums in depth, and to experience diving through submarine gardens of one of the most beautiful and best protected undersea world.

They will gladly bike with you and carry out where you thought it was impossible to pass.

In Vodice you can take a sailing course, day trips with the boat (with skipper), windsurfing courses, rent equipment for windsurfing, kayaking excursions to nearby islands, rent kayaks and boards for standing rowing.
