Croatia has it all, and I mean all of it. Rich history, nice people, amazing food, and many, many other things to offer.
I’m here to show you why you should spend your summer holidays in Croatia.
Young adults are only looking for a good time in a beautiful place with good company. I can give you two of these things. You pick your group of friends and leave me to show you all the good places and what they offer. Good parties, thrilling sports activities, spectacular beaches.
Let me show you why Croatia summer holidays will be your dream destination. Ready? Set. GO!
Croatia Summer Holidays – Nightlife
There are a lot of spots and cities with a wild nightlife, but I will tell you some of the best party spots in Croatia.
Zrce Beach
Every young adult in Croatia knows about Zrce beach and the crazy parties on it every summer. This island is a must if you’re looking for a good time and good music.
But be warned, this means all day long parties with organized festivals where you can find famous performers of electronic music and even some famous rappers worldwide. If you want to experience first-class events, Novalja is a place for you.
Ultra Europe Festival
You must have heard of Ultra Europe that happens every year in Split. That three days in July are only a start for partying in Split. Not only that night clubs such as Kocka, Metropolis and Master’s are always full, but Croatians are also an amazing party company. Live music is easy to come by if you’re in a mood for something slow.
Vodice
Some other amazing party spots are Vodice, where is the best Croatian club ‘Hacienda’ is located. Vodice is also very close to Zadar where you can go to unforgettable festivals in Tisno.
Zagreb
And, in the end, I left Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. These diverse parties go all year round and are known as the best parties. Concerts, DJ performances, Rock&Roll are the only small examples of what you can find in Zagreb.
These are only a small portion of what really happens. You can find every type of party in Croatia. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for slow or lively music, or if you want a laidback or crazy night. In whatever city you can find yourself in and you won’t regret it.
Croatia Summer Holidays – Sports
Let’s say that you’ve partied all night and now you want to do something different. I recommend you to do something memorable. Like some cool sports and activities. Croatia offers different ways of exploring the beauties of the country.
Rafting and zip-line
Omis, for example, gives you an opportunity to rafting and exploring Cetina. Trust me it is a spectacular experience, and if you are a zip-line lover you can also find it here.
Riding or climbing
Zadar is a spot where you can do many activities. If you’re in love with animals you may find yourself on ranches with horses. Many people from Zadar love horseback riding, so you can put it in your calendar and spend a few hours riding these beautiful animals. Although not everyone loves animals so I have another thing for you. Around 40 km away by car you will find National Park Paklenica, a hot spot for mountain climbing, one of the best in Europe.
Swimming and diving
Let’s get back to the sea, especially in the summertime. Warm weather is a constant in Dalmatia in the summertime, with perfect sea temperatures which means a lot of swimming and sunbathing. But even that gets boring sometimes. It turns into a routine, so let’s change it a bit. In every coastal city you can find diving clubs and excursions, so use that to explore the Adriatic sea better. Meet the fishes and make new friends within those clubs.
Windsurfing and kitesurfing
If you’re looking for something more thrilling in your Croatia summer holidays, something that’ll give you the adrenaline rush. I offer you windsurfing. Self-explanatory, you can find it in Premantura, a place near Pula, in Krk among the top places for windsurfing in Croatia, Nin, Peljesac peninsula or Delta Neretva.
Jet-ski
Jet skis are also a very good way of spending time while in Dalmatia.
Cycling
Staying in continental parts of Croatia is not a disadvantage, just because there is no sea doesn’t mean you’re going to be bored. Cycling is always a better way to explore new surroundings and you’re not damaging the environment.
Then again if you are not really a fan of sports but you want to do something fun, I’m presenting you with the idea of visiting amusement parks. You can find them in almost all bigger coastal cities. Big aqua parks are mood-lifting concepts.
Food in Croatia
While in Croatia, you may find classical European food like burgers, pasta and such. But Croatians actually are very diverse eaters. If you eat in a restaurant please do try traditional food, you won’t be sorry. I promise you! Fish in Dalmatia are a must, along with vegetables and seafood. Literally the best thing ever.
So along with the historical value of Croatia, and it’s beautiful untouched nature, many UNESCO protected spots you can enjoy Croatia in a different way. I hope millennials can find themselves in Croatia and enjoy it to the fullest.
Good luck partying. Remember! Stay hydrated and take care of yourselves in your Croatia summer holidays. Till next time!
